His work includes large-format pictures with Tuscan motifs, which he likes to paint in earthlike, natural colors.
His second special field are collages with typographic accents and the use of unconventional materials. The calligraphy in its wild but still controlled form has become an important stylistic device of his creative expression over the years. With artificial ageing processes he likes to give his collages an epoch-making dimension.
The appeal of his abstract works, mainly in acrylic on canvas, lies in their harmonious form and content. Again and again Alba tries a third dimension with standing objects, paravents and sculptures. For many years Andreas M. Alba has been engaged again and again for orders from renowned companies and regularly presents his works at international art fairs. In various workshops in his studio and on art trips through Europe he has been fascinating a wide audience for art as a key to one’s own soul.
