Currently Allen lives and works in Key West where his reputation as a muralist and abstract painter is growing. He is especially interested in the medium of fresco painting. His work has been shown since 2012 at the Studios of Key West, Joy Gallery, and Harrison Gallery.

He is currently a featured artist at the Stone Soup Gallery, 802 White Street, Key West, FL, and he has collectors spread throughout the South and the U. S. eastern seaboard including New York City.
