Kamp is the collaborative effort between Brooklyn based artists Kim Collins and Amy Morgenstern, whose installations are highly minimal yet architecturally stunning.
Kamp’s body of work utilizes contemporary, sustainable materials that are both divinely tactile and beautifully constructed. Great care and attention to detail result in subtle nuances and signature surface treatments rendering their work incredibly sophisticated yet cutting edge. Their work explores the relationship between art forms and how they enhance the flow of light within a space; all the while, creating a richer interior experience. Kamp is interested in how that interplay and dialogue impacts the viewers perception of depth as well as the emphasis created in the immediate environment surrounding their work. The tactile and luminescent qualities they achieve are both understated but powerfully compelling and are the reason their work is sought out by many collectors, architects and award winning interior designers.
