This portrait of John Lennon places the iconic musician in the midst of key symbols from his legendary career. Featured are: original 1960s Beatles concert tour posters, fragments of Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road album covers, a snapshot from the famous 1964 Beatles performance on The Ed Sullivan Show, Paul McCartney from HELP!, and John & Yoko representing the end of the hippie era. These elements come together through vibrant fluorescent drips, sprays of paint, and repurposed street posters, creating a striking fusion of Lennon’s legacy with the raw energy of the urban environment.
