MICHELLE SMITH

Michelle Victoria Smith currently lives in the scenic countryside of Scotland. It was here where she grew up to earn her honors degree in textile design at Duncan of Jordanstone. Michelle was then recruited by an NYC firm to create print and pattern for clothing and interiors. She spent over the next decade living on both coasts of the United States, where she lead design on a number of fashion brands including Osh Kosh B’Gosh and Tommy Bahama. Michelle returned to Scotland in 2016 with her husband to raise their two young children. Today, Michelle spends her days creating resin artwork inspired by beautiful beaches and ocean waves. Her latest focus involves mixing color pigments with layered resin to capture the light and color of the sea.
