Seth Marksberry was born 1977 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He briefly attended the University of Alabama before realizing his aspirations were for a career in art.  Following the inspiration and lead of his father Charles, Seth also became a fine artist.  He and Charles share a warehouse studio where they both paint & sculpt engrossing abstract works on canvas and wood panels. They do not paint as a team nor they do not paint competitively- they paint in synchronicity, giving each other inspiration and support. Quiet and meditative, provocative, and energetic, Seth’s paintings run the gamut of materials & moods. His impeccable color choices and mastery of surfaces provide the viewer a deep dive into a range of emotions that are loved by public who respond deeply to the unusual color pallets, mix of materials and textured surfaces.

Seth continues to explore new materials & processes educating himself with art books and exposure to museums and galleries, resulting in the discovery of various unique mediums that he adapts to his own works. Seth is known for his vibrant color palette and smooth, luminescent surfaces. He is most influenced by his cognitive senses rather than by past artists and contemporary surroundings. His works have been featured in Traditional Home, House Trends, & Miami Home & Décor and have been collected by discerning clients world-wide.  Utilizing his

mechanical engineering background and extensive experience with customs artworks he can create incredibly large and complicated installations that still embody great personal appeal and accessibility. Seth is among one of the most exciting and innovative studio artists working on large scale installation type works in the United States.
