PROJECT: THE LANDINGS

Clients often ask MAC Gallery to furnish their entire home with artwork, and with our diverse number of internationally acclaimed artists we can build a collection that feels as if the clients traveled the globe to find each piece. Also, often clients fall in love with one or two artists and decide to build their entire collection around those artists. The Landings clients purchased multiple pieces from us, including three separate mixed-media creations from John La Huis and two René Romero Schuler oil paintings that were placed in various rooms in the home.

For their bedroom, our clients chose a soft white and cream La Huis diptych for over the fireplace and a complimentary light-colored beige painting by René Romero Schuler on the opposite wall. A powerful figurative La Huis was hung in the office, a money-themed Jason Myers resin panel in the stairway and a soft mint Schuler in the guest bedroom.

The fun loving couple also created a Kaiser Suidan ceramic cube installation by the front door and an adjacent whimsical ceramic ball wall configuration designed by the owner herself. The showstopper is the large John La Huis mixed media painting that hangs in the main living area at the foot of the stairs. It’s as if the artist created it specifically for that space and the clients couldn’t be more thrilled.
