TROY CAMPBELL

Troy Campbell is a well known architectural and interior design photographer with over 70 magazine and book covers. His work has appeared in Veranda, Interior Design, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Cottages & Gardens, Luxe, Florida Design & Wallpaper. He has photographed many celebrity homes, most notably, he was the last photographer to photograph Gianni Versace’s South Beach residence while still under the ownership of the Versace family.

With a deep understanding and love of the photographic medium, Troy’s fine art photography is a logical extension of his talents. His personal work was spotted by the curator of the Four Seasons Public Collection. His inclusion in the collection jump started his fine art career. Since then his fine art photography has appeared in shows such as The Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary Show and the Hamptons Fine Art Fair as well as numerous gallery shows.

As a Miami native, the influences of Everglades hikes and sunbathed weekends on Miami Beach can be felt in his work. From contemporary butterfly collages merging Florida wilderness photos with exotic butterflies to fashionable women sunbathing on sun drenched beaches, his artwork is informed by his environment.

Troy’s latest series Glamour Girls was inspired by vintage photos of his grandparents on Miami Beach in the 1940’s. He wanted to capture the elegance of the time but with a modern take. The work is vibrant and chic with a nod to the vintage glamour of the past.
