HAROUNA OUÉDRAOGO
Harouna Ouédraogo was born in 1981 in Ouahigouya, in the north of Burkina, where he has been drawing since his childhood. He began painting in 2000 and then enrolled in the Inafac (National Institute of Arts and Cultural Training) of Ouagadougou for three years. An artist with an expressive and sharp style, Harouna experiences abstraction while giving himself freedom, gesture and movement.
His works are inspired by the society that surrounds him. The street, the human, the everyday life offer an infinite panel of subjects. “Build, deconstruct, rebuild are actions that I often use in my work with an illogical research of the line and the form”. He has his studio at the Hang’art of the Creators near Lyon in France.
